REPUBLIC SQUARE

More about project

A 110m² commercial space near Republic Square, in Braće Jugovića Street, needed to be completely renovated and prepared for the opening of the representative office of an international company in Belgrade.
Since the client commissioning the renovation was a foreign company, we were given a short and urgent deadline for the completion of the project. We reallocated our existing resources, considering the holiday season, fully engaged, and got straight to work.
As always, we approached the organization and scheduling of the craftsmen teams with great care to meet the agreed 30-day deadline. The main focus, given the initial state of the property, was on gypsum board installation and painting works.
These were preceded by complete electrical works, with new lighting placements as per the investor's request. Adjustments were also made to the surveillance system and other low-voltage installations. Two high-capacity inverter air conditioning units were purchased and installed, primarily intended for heating the space during winter.
A new water supply and sewage system was installed for the planned kitchenette. Built-in toilet tanks were installed in the restrooms, along with minor modifications to the plumbing and sewage system.
One of the biggest challenges in this project, considering the height of the second level, was the glazing of the gallery. A tempered glass barrier was custom-made, delivered, and installed without any issues, thanks to the expertise of our craftsmen.
The primary goal, aside from aesthetics, was to acoustically insulate and separate the upper meeting area from the lower floor.
Additionally, on the ground floor, we constructed a new partition wall with glass doors using tempered glass. By dividing the space, we created an additional functional room while maintaining the natural light within the property.
The front display window was also replaced with a new black aluminum frame. In addition to the challenge of working at height, we also removed graffiti from the building's exterior facade. 😊
To mutual satisfaction, all contract terms and agreements were met within the stipulated timeframe, and the commercial space was handed over to the investors for use.

The office was officially opened, and you can watch the transformation of the space during the renovation process in the video business space reconstruction.
