KONJARNIK
More about project
As soon as we stepped in and got to know the space,
it was love at first sight.
We felt what was needed right
at the first business meeting, listened to the wishes
and goals of the owner, and realized that the apartment
reconstruction project perfectly fits
our business model and work execution.
Challenging, with a change in the fundamental
function of the original 81m2 apartment,
with a project completion deadline of 60 days,
a complete reconstruction of the apartment
under the "turnkey" system -
just the way we love it the most. 😊
The predetermined reconstruction of the apartment
on Begejska Street in Konjarnik could begin.
Our main design task was to transform
the original three-room apartment into a four-room
apartment, create a new laundry area
to relocate the boiler, and expand the living room
by reducing the terrace space.
The area of the old dining room was separated
by a drywall partition from the kitchen and converted
into a new children's room.
In front of the bathroom, in the hallway,
a laundry area was built where we relocated the boiler
along with the washing machine. As a result, logically,
we gained more space, which automatically
allowed us to fulfill all of the client's wishes in the bathroom.
The before and after transformation
of the bathroom through various phases of
construction can be seen in the bathroom reconstruction video.
A complete replacement of electrical installations
was carried out, as well as complete
plumbing and sewage works with new
installations.
The old parapet in the living room
was demolished, and new, larger PVC windows
were installed in its place
to increase natural light and ventilation in the
living room and throughout the apartment.
It was also necessary to relocate
the radiator in the living room to another position
so it wouldn't obstruct the new window installation.
Additionally, all heating system valves were replaced,
and a new towel radiator was installed in the bathroom.
The floor level was adjusted in the expanded living room
as part of flooring works.
As in the living room, the original parapet
flower boxes on the terrace were also removed.
The railing was dismantled,
reworked by metalworkers,
and repainted before being mounted
on the newly constructed wall.
Along with complete painting and finishing work,
we also installed drywall ceilings on a metal framework
(in certain rooms) with cascades and LED lighting concealments
throughout almost the entire apartment.
The result was the possibility
of installing and mounting a significantly higher amount
of decorative recessed LED lighting,
which enhances the ambiance and enriches
the future home in the evening.
The warmth of the space was complemented
by full-gloss oak parquet, laid in a triple herringbone pattern.
The before and after apartment transformation,
through various renovation phases,
can be seen in the apartment reconstruction video.
The apartment was completed within the planned
60-day deadline and was handed over
to the investors for their enjoyment with mutual satisfaction. 😊
