BLOK 62

More about project

Last year, we started with the complete reconstruction of a 76 m2 apartment in Block 62, New Belgrade. On this project, we collaborated with ABV Interiors, which, in agreement with the investors, prepared a complete apartment adaptation project with the necessary interior design and accompanying renders.
Our task was to execute and implement the predefined elements according to the project. As always, all construction work was carried out under the "turnkey" system.
In addition to the standard construction works, which are mandatory and an essential part of any complete reconstruction project, we also had some non-standard tasks. Almost all interior partition walls were demolished and replaced with new ones made of gypsum board on a metal substructure. In addition to mineral wool, Azmafon was installed in the walls, providing sound insulation and reducing noise transmission between rooms.
The walls of the old bathroom were demolished to expand the new bathroom area, where a floor heating system was installed. The water heater was placed in a niche above the built-in toilet tank, then concealed and enclosed with custom-made cabinetry.

Part of the old kitchen area was converted into a storage room, while the new kitchen was integrated with the dining area. By demolishing the old parapet and relocating the heating unit in the living room, we enabled a complete opening of the space toward the terrace, allowing for the installation of a lift-and-slide aluminum window with a much larger glass surface.
In addition to achieving a more attractive look for the living room and increasing natural light, this also provided a better view extending beyond the terrace. The left side of the terrace was walled in, and a small window was added below which we placed the external air conditioning unit. The terrace railing was modified with metalwork, and double-tempered glass with a film layer was added, giving it a significantly more modern appearance.
Door openings were raised in height throughout the apartment, and white interior doors made of painted MDF were installed.
The apartment was completed within the planned 60-day deadline and handed over to the clients for use.
We take this opportunity to thank ABV Interiors, our partners and friends, for their professional and precise cooperation.
